The first time I visited a nudist campground was one of the best experiences I have ever had. It was the realization of a dream I have had for most of my life. While the whole day was filled with awesome moments that truly stand out, none more so then the first.

When I arrived and parked, climbing out of my car I found that just beyond the low shrubbery bordering the parking lot, was the common area lawn where people sunbathed. Even though it was only mid morning there were a handful of people lying out on blankets or lounge chairs, taking in the morning sun. My breath caught and I thought to myself “Wow those are real nudists! and in a few moments I will be one of them!” I have had many great experiences since but none have ever recaptured that first feeling of elation. It’s a fond memory I doubt I will ever forget.
